No Other Gospel – Galatians

Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia is one of the most urgent and passionate books in the New Testament because something essential was at stake. The believers hadn’t abandoned Jesus—but they were in danger of adjusting the gospel. Adding to it. Improving it. Making it more culturally acceptable. More religiously respectable. More manageable.

Paul writes to remind them—and us—that the gospel is not something we refine. It is something we receive. It is not something we protect by softening it, but by guarding it.

Over 10 weeks, this series walks verse-by-verse through Galatians, exploring themes of grace, freedom, identity, Spirit-led living, and gospel-shaped community. From the danger of “another gospel,” to the joy of sonship, to the fruit of the Spirit, Galatians calls us back to a faith that begins and continues by grace.

This series will challenge us to ask:

  • Are we living by grace—or drifting toward performance?

  • Are we walking by the Spirit—or relying on effort?

  • Are we standing firm in freedom—or quietly returning to bondage?

At its heart, Galatians is not merely a theological letter. It is a pastoral plea. A call to stand firm. A reminder that our only boast is in the cross of Christ.

The Gospel is not fragile.

But it must be guarded.

And when grace is guarded, the church flourishes in freedom.
